Google Capital made its venture into public trade with an investment of $46.35 million in Care.com. Care.com is the largest online marketplace connecting families with home-based care and senior care. It’s used in 16 countries and connects 11 million families with 8.6 million caregivers.
With its investment, Google is Care.com’s largest shareholder.
