This year saw steady pay increases for staff of CCRCs, according to The Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service’s annual Salary & Benefits Report. From 2015 to 2016, management-level staff saw an average national salary increase of 2.7% and non-management staff (excluding clinicians) saw an increase of 2.6%. For both management and non-management staff, salary is expected to continue to grow at a rate of about 2.6% within the next year.
CCRC data includes rates for new staffing positions, like fitness coordinator and transition care coordinator, suggesting positive development of the CCRC workforce. Additionally, experts interpret the trend of salary growth as a sign of recovery for CCRCs, which were hit hard by the recession.
